Clearing Sinus Congestion

WARNING!  Don’t try this remedy without a good supply of hankies!  I’m serious.

Sinus congestion can range from annoying to extremely painful.  There are over the counter medications that will alleviate sinus congestion, but I don’t like the side effects and risks.

This is an amazing trick that has never failed to work for me or the people for whom I’ve recommended it.  You need two pans, buckets or other containers suitable for a foot bath.  Fill one with cold water, you can even add a few ice cubes.  Fill the other with hot water, as hot as you can stand to soak in.  Then alternate, start with your feet in the cold bath, for at least two minutes.  Then, move your feet immediately to the hot bath, try for five minutes.  Repeat.  After just a couple of cycles your sinuses will open up and start flowing.
